Unusual Sunset Colors At Home
Thursday 9 July 2015   —   Category: Shooting
Last evening there was an unusual copper glow to the light as dusk was falling. Looking outside, I saw an explosion of colors in the sky. What was especially attractive were the two layers of clouds, which had different colors and textures.

I grabbed my camera — already warmed up from a photo outing to Portland earlier in the day.

It seemed like there was some sort of weather front coming in. To the north the sky was clear, but the south had a high layer of clouds. During the time I was taking pictures, the leading edge of the clouds slowly crept northwards above us in Albany, Oregon.

I took 25 photos between 8:55 and 9:15. The best 10 shots can be enjoyed in the new Albany Clouds 2015 album.
