La Grenouille Perdue
Sunday 5 October 2014   —   Category: Shooting
La grenouille perdue. Pardon my French! But I’m sure Anne Shirley would agree that it sounds much more romantic than “the lost frog.”

During my early-morning neighborhood walk today, I encountered this grenouille perdue just sitting there on the sidewalk. It was as big as my hand, so I would estimate that it was at least six inches long.

Even though I used flash in the low light of dawn, my camera still had to bump the ISO up to 1,000. Therefore the image quality is not as good as I would have liked. But still, it’s not too bad for a pocket camera. As usual, you can click on the photo to see a larger version.

I hope this lost frog finds his princess and her transforming kiss before it’s too late!
