Neon Sun Rising
Monday 4 August 2014   —   Category: Shooting
This morning when I went downstairs for breakfast, I was greeted by an eye-opening sight: a huge, glowing, radiant, neon-salmon-colored sun rising through the neighborhood trees in the distance. Wow-wee!

I ran back upstairs, mounted my Panasonic 100-300mm lens on my Olympus OM-D E-M5 body, and quickly returned to the backyard. I alternated between gazing in wonder and snapping photos.

By the time the sun reached the top of the trees, it was less salmon color and more orange, as you can see in the photo to the right. As usual, you can click on it to see a larger version.

This photo is the last of four different shots I added to the Homemade Images 2014 album — you can start at the first image of the set by clicking here.
