Neon Sun Rising

I ran back upstairs, mounted my Panasonic 100-300mm lens on my Olympus OM-D E-M5 body, and quickly returned to the backyard. I alternated between gazing in wonder and snapping photos.
By the time the sun reached the top of the trees, it was less salmon color and more orange, as you can see in the photo to the right. As usual, you can click on it to see a larger version.
