Glowing Fence
Saturday 2 August 2014   —   Category: Shooting
This morning while on my daily neighborhood walk, I rounded a bend in the road and there before me was a glowing, reddish patch of light from the newly-risen sun, shining on a fence while the rest of the scene was still in early-morning shadows.

As with most photographs, composition makes all the difference. I wanted a shot which would show how small the patch of sunlight was compared to the rest of the fence. The result is this image to the right, which you can click on to see larger. Then I changed positions slightly, zoomed the lens to telephoto, and got a tighter shot with more detail, which you can see here (following the first image).
