Summer Solstice Is Slowly Approaching
Monday 28 April 2014   —   Category: Shooting
When I was having breakfast around 6:30 this morning, I noticed a golden glow in the living room. Glancing over, I saw the scene captured in this photo. (Click on it to see a larger version.)

Because I had just returned from my daily neighborhood walk, I already had my pocket camera hanging from my belt. I whipped it out and got this shot of the piano corner.

I can always tell when summer is approaching, because the early morning sun starts to shine through windows on the north side of our house. Siri says the summer solstice will occur in 54 days. After that, we start another slide towards winter!
