A Day's Outing From Stehekin to Agnes Gorge
Tuesday 5 March 2013 — Category: Outings
During my September 2012 trip to Lake Chelan I went for two hikes in the Stehekin area. On my first full day there, I took the first Stehekin Valley shuttle bus of the day on its eleven-mile route up the Stehekin Valley from Stehekin to High Bridge. From there, all of the passengers were continuing their thru-hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), while I enjoyed a much more modest day-hike up the Agnes Gorge Trail.
I have already written quite a bit about my outing that day, so I won’t repeat it here. You can get all the details by checking out The Chelan Chronicles, Part II of IV. Out of the 178 pictures I took during the hike, I have selected the best 43 to be included in Agnes Gorge 2012, the seventh of eight albums of images from my Lake Chelan trip.
