4/3 Rumors Contribution
Sunday 11 November 2012   —   Category: Miscellaneous
Because I am so enamoured by my recently-acquired Micro Four Thirds (µ4/3) Olympus OM-D E-M5 camera and lens kit, I daily (hourly?!) keep tabs on the latest news from a couple of great Web sites dedicated to the Micro Four Thirds world: 43 and

After writing my Tale Of Three G5 Cameras article the previous week, I thought that others might benefit from my experiences, so I submitted a short summary and link to the 43 Rumors Web site. A few days went by and nothing was mentioned on that Web site about my article, so I figured the moderator didn’t care for it, and it was simply going to be ignored.

This morning when I checked my e-mail, I found two reader comments on the Tale Of Three G5 Cameras article waiting in my inbox. I figured that despite my article not being mentioned on the 43 Rumors site, some people were somehow finding it anyway — perhaps Google was already leading searchers to my Web site? At this point I still didn’t realize that there was more to this than met the eye.

When I visited the 43 Rumors Web site after checking my e-mail, I saw an article which had been posted late last evening, entitled “a little bit of everything...” When I looked more closely, I was very amazed — and very pleased — to see that my article was the FIRST of a list of eleven!

No wonder I was starting to get comments on my Web site! How exciting! Because my wife is from Switzerland, I was even more pleased to see that the two comments left on my Web site were from readers in the Netherland and Italy.

Some further developments had taken place in my Tale Of Three G5 Cameras which I had not yet had time to add to the article. But now that people from around the world could easily find it, I got to work and quickly appended the updated information.

Well, I suppose it’s not such a big deal to be referenced on the 43 Rumors Web site, but it’s a first for me, so I’m excited to share this news with you!
