Sweet Photos From a Sweet Camera At Sweet Creek
Saturday 11 August 2012 — Category: Outings
About three weeks ago I took my new Olympus OM-D E-M5 camera system on it’s first official photo outing, to a hidden little Oregon gem called Sweet Creek. I have already written an extensive account of that trip — see Sweet Creek Is So Sweet! — so I won’t repeat myself here.
But I did finally finish processing the 195 photos which I took that day. For months I have been playing catch-up, struggling to process the thousands of photos I have been taking during the year — ever since my April outing to the far eastern reaches of Oregon. From that time, I've been buried under an avalanche of pictures, with only a little shovel, as it seemed, to dig myself out.
I've been working hard at it, and slowly but surely have been making progress and coming closer to the light at the end of the tunnel (or avalanche!). I do see that light, for with the completing of the Sweet Creek 2012 photo album, I have only ONE more album to finish until I am COMPLETELY caught up!
Now that the backlog of photos is pretty much cleared out, I’m looking forward to going on more outing, to take more photos! Yikes! But I also want to write some more articles about my new Olympus camera system, how I've arranged hiking with it, and how I’m enjoying its positive aspects and overcoming its negative ones.
Well, I had better get back to work — I still have that last photo album to finish before I’m FREE!
