Smith River 2012 — photo 3 of 20: This page has a lot of photographic content, so please be patient as it loads. Another 16-photo, 360-degree panorama of the Smith River, at the north end of Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park — along U.S. Route 199, about nine miles northeast of Crescent City, taken some dozens of yards downstream from the previous panorama, in May 2012. As before, I have put together to display in two different formats. Above, you can scroll your browser window left and right to see the entire 360-degree image.
Below is the same panorama in a narrower frame — but it's one you can rotate through simply by clicking in the image and then dragging your mouse right or left. If you drag your mouse further away from where you clicked, the image will rotate faster, and if you decrease the distance, you decrease the speed. Unlike the panorama photo above, you can keep rotating around and around without stopping — don't get dizzy! Camera used: Sony Alpha α77 with Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM zoom lens.
