Aerial Oregon & California 2012 — photo 14 of 31: After only 40 minutes from my first photo of Mt. Saint Helens and Mt. Rainier — snapped just after takeoff from Portland International Airport on the Oregon – Washington border — we have now arrived at the 14,179-foot Mt. Shasta in northern California! In the foreground are lower mountians, known as the Trinity Alps (1,350 to 9,000 feet in elevation), as seen from high above California, February 2012. Camera used: Canon PowerShot S100.
