Oregon City 2017 — photo 33 of 117: Looking generally southeast from the northwestern end of the historic (completed 1922) Oregon City Bridge, which carries Oregon Route 43 over the Willamette River between Oregon City and West Linn, at the southern end of the Portland metro area. In the background is the 130-foot Oregon City Municipal Elevator — the only outdoor municipal elevator in the U.S. and one of only four in the world — which transports pedestrians between the lower and upper parts of the city. May 2017. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic Lumix 35-100mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
