Panoramas 2017 — photo 32 of 35: A 13-photo panorama of the Fossil Lake area at the western end of the Christmas Valley Sand Dunes, about 65 miles southeast of Bend, in the Fort Rock / Christmas Lake Valley Basin. The site has produced more Holocene fossils than any other location in the world except the La Brea Tar Pits in California. Autumn equinox 2017.
