Panoramas 2017 — photo 23 of 35: An 8-photo panorama looking southwest at the left-hand end of the image, and generally north at the right-hand end, taken from the eastern rim of the one-mile-diameter Hole-in-the-Ground, just off Oregon Route 31, 45 miles south of Bend and 7 miles northwest of Fort Rock State Park. It is just one of many prehistoric volcanic landforms in Oregon’s Fort Rock / Christmas Lake Valley Basin. Autumn equinox 2017.
