Best of Food & Cooking 2016 — photo 49 of 50: A homemade gourmet meal: chunks of chicken breast marinated overnight in a serrano yogurt sauce (see recipe here), skewered and barbecued; the remaining marinade turned into a sauce by adding a bit of corn starch dissolved in white wine, and bringing the sauce to a boil; a medley of stir-​fried snow peas, baby-​cut carrots, yellow bell pepper and red onion; and Trader Joe’s Rice Orzo Pilaf.
