Oregon Pub Crawl 2017 — photo 38 of 50: Fresh Rockfish New Orleans which I had at the McGrath’s Fish House in the Cedar Hills Crossing shopping center in Beaverton, Oregon, in the western part of the Portland metro area. According to the menu it consisted of “a Cajun sauce with shrimp, Andouille sausage, mushrooms, scallions, peppers and tomatoes served over a blackened Pacific rockfish.” It came with some veggies and I chose penne pasta, in a cream sauce and topped with Parmesan cheese, for the side. April 2017.
About a year and a half earlier, after I had tried this dish for the first time, I created my own version which I named Chunky Cajun Cream Sauce. IMHO, I think my version is much better!
