Oregon Pub Crawl 2017 — photo 65 of 71: A pint of Occidental Pilsner which I sipped on the patio of their Wursthaus pub, close to Cathedral Park and the Willamette River, in the North Portland neighborhood of St. Johns. According to the brewer:
“Occidental’s take on the lager style that changed the beer world forever, this is a largely Bohemian-style pilsner with a bit of a Bavarian pedigree. Crisp, clean, and dry, Czech Saaz hops crown this beautiful beer.” Measurements: 4.8% ABV • N/A IBU
My notes from that day read: “This beer is OK, but I like their Kölsch much better.” My favorite pilsner is still Hopworks Urban Brewery Organic Lager Northwest Pilsner. May 2017. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
