Gourmet Chef Wannabe 2017 — photo 24 of 80: After enjoying a Baby Back Rib Burger at Carl’s Jr, I tried making the same thing at home. My version featured a ground beef patty and two strips of boneless country-style pork ribs, both barbecued, Trader Joe’s Kentucky Bourbon BBQ Sauce, French’s Crispy Fried Onions, and dill pickle chips, all stacked between two halves of a Seattle Sourdough brioche-style bun.

Once I had done my usual processing of the photo, I went for a full glamour treatment so that my picture would look as much as possible as the official photo of the Carl’s Jr burger below. The main difference between mine and theirs is the color of the barbecue sauce. June 2017.

Carl’s Jr wrote that their Baby Back Rib Burger featured charbroiled de-boned baby back ribs covered in Cattleman’s Original BBQ Sauce sitting, along with crispy onion strings and pickles, on top of a charbroiled beef patty and stacked between two halves of a brioche-style bun.
Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
