McMenamins Food (All Years) — photo 1 of 83: My first-ever cider flight, which I tried at a small table in the Edgefield Winery Tasting Room, one of eleven venues for eating and drinking on the McMenamins Edgefield property in Troutdale, Oregon, on the eastern edge of the Portland metro area. February 2018.

The samples were four Edgefield ciders (left to right, with my tasting notes in green), accompanied by chips and salsa:
  1. Edgefield Apple Cider
As Goldilocks would say, just right!
  2. Pomegranate Cider
A bit sweet but not bad.
  3. Mcmenamins Estate Cider
Kind of strong, dry and somewhat tart, it is my least favorite; tastes like an old dish rag (not that I have ever tasted one!)
  4. Estate Quince Cider
Kind of strong, dry and somewhat tart, pretty good, much better than #3.
