McMenamins Beer (All Years) — photo 43 of 140: A pint of McMenamins Eyetooth IPA, which I enjoyed with a meal at the Imbrie Hall restaurant on their Cornelius Pass Roadhouse property in Hillsboro, Oregon, in the western Portland metro area. According to the brewer:
“Eyetooth IPA hearkens back to the day when IPAs were bitter and copper-hued, and elk had tusks. Well, not that long ago, but this IPA is for those of you who’ve been longing for a beer with a great aroma that gently scrubs your mouth.” Measurements: 6.5% ABV • 90 IBUMy notes from that day read: “Nice! It doesn’t seem like an IBU 90 ... I can’t believe I am drinking and liking a beer with such a high IBU! It is somewhat like the Bel-Ore IPA I had earlier in the day. I would get this again.” May 2018. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Olympus 12-100mm f/4.0 zoom lens.
