McMenamins Beer (All Years) — photo 38 of 119: A pint of Feel Good Country Lager that I got at the Ironwork Grill bar on the McMenamins Grand Lodge property in the western Portland metro suburb of Forest Grove. According to the brewer:
“Named for one of the Crystal Brewers' favorite sub-sub-genres, Feel Good Country Lager is a crisp and light-bodied beer meant to help you make memories at the Crystal Ballroom. Memories like that time you met your future sweetheart working in the cornfields, or the time you took that old truck for its last drive, or listening to your grandpa’s stories, or strawberry wine...” Measurements: 4.3% ABV • 20 IBUMy notes from that day read: “A good lager ... not watery ... enough hops to make it tasty ... I would get it again. This is what a lager should be ... not like that American Budwiser, Coors, etc. crap!” March 2018. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Olympus 12-100mm f/4.0 zoom lens.
