McMenamins Beer (All Years) — photo 41 of 140: A pint of Egyptian Cotton IPA which I enjoyed at the Tavern on The Square, one of six venues on the McMenamins Anderson School property in the northern Seattle metro area suburb of Bothell, Washington. According to the brewer:
“Oh man, this IPA is so soft. It’s like drinking a cloud of hops and malt. Like a basket full of kittens that smell like citrus and candied fruit. Like the inside of a snuggle. It’s so soft....” Measurements: 6.6% ABV • 35 IBUThis is the first time I’ve ever seen a beer compared to a basket of kitten! My notes from that day read: “Pretty good ... I would get it again ... it is soft, like they said, which is normally not a word used to describe an IPA.” 1 August 2017. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Olympus 12-100mm f/4.0 zoom lens.
