McMenamins Beer (All Years) — photo 24 of 106: Creekside Cream Ale was one of the samples I tried at the 16th Annual Roadhouse Brewfest on the McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse property in Hillsboro, Oregon, in the western Portland metro area. According to the brewer:
“Need a refreshment? This cream ale is the color of the sun, shining through thin clouds with a fluffy white head. Enjoy the faint scent of flowers blowing in the breeze as you take a sip of this full-bodied and oh-so-clean brew. Breathe out and repeat. Brewed with lactose and Gambrinus Pilsen malt.” Measurements: 4.6% ABV • 12 IBUMy notes from that day read: “Not so great ... kinda like a Pilsner with a bit of milk flavor added, just like the description says. I would definitely NOT get again, even though it wasn’t terrible.” 15 July 2017. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
