McMenamins Beer (All Years) — photo 77 of 140: A McMenamins Mojave Trail Finder Pale Ale that I had at their Cedar Hills Pub in Beaverton, Oregon, in the western part of the Portland metro area. According to the brewer:
“This light American pale ale is easy-drinking and refreshing. It has a complex malty base of spiciness from the rye, and smooth, creamy notes from the oat malt and rolled oats. US Goldings hops help mute some of the spiciness and balance out the complex maltiness. Think of this as a breakfast pale ale. This brew will lift your spirits and send you down the right path.” Measurements: 5.2% ABV • 30 IBUMy notes from that day read: “Better than the Blue Rider Pale I had right before it, but still, pretty weak and not much taste ... it’s OK, but I wouldn’t get it again.” September 2016.
