McMenamins Beer (All Years) — photo 123 of 140: To accompany my pulled pork and coleslaw sandwich (see previous photo), I had a Summertime Dark Farmhouse Ale by Ambacht Brewery on the McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse property in Hillsboro, Oregon, in the western Portland metro area, during their 15th Annual Roadhouse Brewfest on 16 July 2016. According to the brewer it is:
“A dark ale, light in body, smooth in taste. A balanced ale made with organic malts and hops, keg-conditioned with honey.” Measurements: 6.5% ABV • 17 IBUMy notes from that day read: “OK, but I wouldn’t get it again... maybe a bit too hoppy, even though it has a low IBU. Good thing I had a pulled-pork sandwich and chips to help it along!”
