McMenamins Pub Crawl 2017 — photo 261 of 269: A pint of McMenamins Flurry New England IPA that I had at the new location of their Cedar Hills Pub in Beaverton, Oregon, in the western part of the Portland metro area. According to the brewer:
“Hazy, juicy, and excessively dry-hopped, Flurry is Edgefield Brewery’s take on the incredibly popular New England-style IPA. Flurry was made with unmalted wheat and flaked barley to assist with haze formation, dry-hopped with huge amounts of Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, and the water chemistry was tweaked to lessen bitterness and let hop flavor shine.” Measurements: 5.8% ABV • 8 IBUMy notes from that day read: “Pretty good ... reminds me of their Sunflower IPA ... the sample was so tasty that I got a whole pint of it ... pretty nice ... I like it! I would definitely get it again.” December 2017. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Olympus 12-100mm f/4.0 zoom lens.
