McMenamins Pub Crawl 2017 — photo 259 of 269: A pint of Puffer Pale Ale that I sipped at the McMenamins Barley Mill Pub, on the corner of SE Hawthorne and 17th Avenue in the Hawthorne District of Southeast Portland, Oregon. According to the brewer:
“Light in color, Puffer Pale is easy-drinking. You’ll notice that the Ekuanot hops provide a slight citrus flavor on the front end, complemented by a grassy finish on the back end. This is a beer you can enjoy any time of day.” Measurements: 4.9% ABV • 29 IBUMy notes from that day read: “I don’t taste the citrus flavor very much at all, but it seems quite grassy. I don’t think I would order this again.” August 2017. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
