McMenamins Pub Crawl 2017 — photo 244 of 269: A pint of Reaper’s Wheat I enjoyed on the patio at Pat’s Corner on the McMenamins Grand Lodge property in the western Portland metro suburb of Forest Grove. According to the brewer:
“Reaper’s Wheat is an easy-drinking golden colored ale, arriving just in time for the sunshine. Reaper’s Wheat has a soft mouthfeel and malty sweetness. There’s just enough background hop flavor to balance the profile without taking over the show.” Measurements: 4.9% ABV • 11 IBUMy notes from that day read: “A pretty good beer ... I would consider having it again in the future.” June 2017. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
