McMenamins Edgefield Pub Crawl 2016 — photo 33 of 98: Terminator Stout was one of six beers I sampled at Lucky Staehly’s Pool Hall, in the basement of the hotel, one of eleven venues for eating and drinking on the McMenamins Edgefield property in Troutdale, Oregon, on the eastern edge of the Portland metro area, on the 2016 summer solstice. According to the brewer:
“Black as the darkest night and as rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full-bodied and flavor-packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales, year after year.” Measurements: 6.5% ABV • 30 IBUCamera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
