McMenamins Crystal Blocks 2016 — photo 15 of 50: My truly scrumptious breakfast at the Zeus Café — a prosciutto and Mama Lil’s Peppers omelette (I don’t think there was any cheese), with a bowl of creamy polenta, whole-wheat toast, and a pot of nice hot, strong black tea. This was the first time I had ever had polenta for breakfast, and it sure was good! Everything else was very tasty as well. In the upper-right corner you can see my McMenamins Passport, which I always carry with me on my McMenamins Passport adventure. Zeus Café is part of McMenamins historic (built 1910) Crystal Hotel, located on an entire wedge-shaped block between West Burnside and SW Stark Streets, and SW 12th and 13th Avenues, in downtown Portland, Oregon. June 2016. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
