Black and White 2016 — photo 123 of 134: The Chown Pella Lofts was the first Pearl District conversion of a historic warehouse into residential condominiums, back in 1996. The complex, originally two separate structures built in the early 1910s, occupies an entire half-block on NW 13th Avenue between NW Glisan and Flanders Streets, complete with two original wooden water tanks. On the left edge of the picture can be seen the upper part of the 16-floor, 200-foot condos called The Casey. As viewed from the north side of Glisan Street, somewhat west of 12th Avenue, in northern downtown Portland, Oregon. May 2016. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
