Gourmet Chef Wannabe 2015 — photo 87 of 292: My first time eating a flat iron steak at home. I bought this Oregon Painted Hills Natural Beef at Market of Choice in Corvallis. It was fried at high heat in a cast-iron skillet with some extra-virgin olive oil, and seasoned with my favorite Weber Steak 'n' Chop seasoning. The steak is topped with my homemade obatzda spread, accompanied by Israeli couscous and carrots sautéed in butter and basil. I hate to make you envious, but it was awesome! November 2015. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
