Oregon Pub Crawl 2016 — photo 53 of 112: A traditional dolsot bibimbap I had for lunch at the Gangnam Korean BBQ restaurant in Hillsboro, Oregon. According to the menu (which had the spelling bibimbob), it consisted of “rice with beef, assorted vegetables and spicy sauce served in hot stone pot.” The meal came with a small bowl of broth, and five types of kimchi. August 2016.

The bibimbap was OK, but not awesome enough that I would want to have it again. I didn’t really care for the kimchi, mostly because it is served cold. One unique thing about the dolsot bibimbap was how loudly the food was sizzling at the table, as my video documents:
