Sutton Creek 2014 — photo 1 of 24: This has to be the weirdest tree I have ever seen! Or is it trees? That's what makes it so weird — it's hard to decide if it's just one tree, or actually two. It hard to believe that two separate trees could be connected by such a large, contorted branch. It's also hard to believe that such a large branch would take a nosedive and grow into the ground. It's even harder to believe that such a nosediving branch would go underground, only to reappear as a second tree! There's something I'm not getting about this — weird, weird weird! Sutton Creek trail, Oregon. July 2014. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 zoom lens.
