McDowell Creek 2014 — photo 1 of 23: The view of the 39-foot Majestic Falls from the bridge over McDowell Creek isn't all that great, because the creek bends around to the right. Of course, there's a nice view from the middle observation deck, which can be seen in the upper-right corner of the photo. But imagine the shot I could get if I were standing where that orangish cairn is on the north bank of the creek, visible at the left edge of the picture. Admittedly, it's off the official path, but it just might be possible. I'll have to investigate this further.... McDowell Creek Falls County Park, Oregon, May 2014. Camera used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Olympus 12mm f/2.0 prime lens.
