During my four-day, 800-mile photo outing to the southern coast of Oregon
(south of Bandon
) in May 2012, I took about 2,000 pictures. The first day I explored the area from Floras Lake
in the north, down about 32 miles to Otter Point
in the south. In between, I made stops at Cape Blanco, Port Orford,
and Sisters Rocks.
Maybe I'm a bit trigger-happy, because during the five hours it took me to explore the sites along these 32 miles, I took about 700 photos — 35% of all the photos I took during the entire trip! But don't worry — I've done all the hard work of sorting through the shots, so you can simply enjoy browsing through the cream of the crop.
Thirteen pictures of cows, goats and horses ended up in their own separate album — Domestic Animals 2012.
The other 42 best photos can be found here in the Cape Blanco Area 2012 photo album — the third of numerous albums from this trip.
