I started stitching
together panoramic photos
for this Web site, and eleven years later I’m still at it. The grandeur and majesty of panoramic images continue to enthrall me! Sometimes a viewfinder is just way too narrow to capture the expansive scene before my eyes. At such times, a panoramic photo is necessary in order to convey some sense of what I am seeing.
In 2018 I was more intentional about panoramas compared to previous years. Outings in Oregon included Smith Rock,
the Columbia River Gorge
and Wallowa Lake
This year I went on more outings in Washington than in the past, including Mount Rainier,
the Columbia River Gorge and Silver Star Mountain.
All in all it was a great year for panoramas!
