We made two trips to the Oregon coast this summer of 2011: once at the beginning of August, and then again at the end of August. The first trip the weather was bright and sunny, with hardly a cloud in the sky, while the second time it was cold and foggy. Both times, I got lots of great shots as we stopped at various beaches between Lincoln City
Many of the pictures were taken at the wild and beautiful Yaquina Head Natural Area
More photos were taken at Fogarty Creek Beach
and Beverly Beach,
where I took this photo of Olivia running in the water that won an award in the monthly competitions of the Valley Viewfinders Camera Club
