I really like panoramic photos,
but unfortunately, when I’m actually out taking pictures I forget all about having that option. It usually isn’t until I get home that I realize that a certain scene I shot would have made a great panorama.
Sometimes I try to use those photos to stitch
together a panorama, but because I didn’t take those pictures with a panorama in mind, the results are often disappointing. Fortunately, there were a number of occasions this year when I intentionally photographed a scene for a panorama.
I’m particularly happy with how this vertical panorama — shown in miniature to the right — turned out, especially considering the difficult conditions under which the three photos were taken.
