Last year I started experimenting with making artisan breads and pizzas at home, inspired by the cookbook Flour Water Salt Yeast: The Fundamentals of Artisan Bread and Pizza by Portland-​based master baker Ken Forkish. I ended up with so many photos of my efforts that I had to create the Bread and Pizza 2015 album to hold them all.

As I continue my culinary ex­per­i­men­ta­tion this year, I expect to have a sig­nif­i­cant number of bread and pizza photos to add to the collection. I have established this new album for that purpose, even though I am starting off with only two focaccia photos. But don’t worry, the oven is heating up, and more 2016 bread and pizza pictures are on the way!
