with its beautiful waterfront skyline and its many elegant and historic bridges, is an ideal location for panoramic photos.
During my numerous photo outings to Portland this year,
I have taken enough panoramas to warrant the creation of 2015’s collection.
A good number of the photos in this album are not true panoramas which have been stitched
together from multiple pictures. Rather, some of them are single photos which have been cropped in a wide-screen, panoramic fashion. But whether made from a single or multiple photos, each image in this album gives you a unique view of Oregon’s largest city.
Because all of these panoramas were shot in Portland, I’ve decided to add the city name to the album title, in contrast to the more generic previous album titles. Most of the 120 panoramic photos I have created over the past years have featured the wonders of nature in Oregon, California and Washington. This includes quite a number of vertical panoramas of waterfalls in these three states. You can browse through my collection in these previous albums:
The initial 17 photos in this collection originally appeared in six different albums — and still do — but now they are presented all together in this one album for your viewing pleasure.
