Shortly after getting my first SLR camera in 25 years in March 2011, I also picked up a couple of macro lenses. This, literally, opened up a whole new world of photography! There is a miniature, magical world waiting to be discovered, if we will only take the time and effort to see!

In this conglomerate "super-album," which includes five award-winning images, you'll find close-ups of numerous flowers and insects, plus a variety of other subjects, like abalone shells, spider webs, various foods, gold and silver coins, a candle wick, a dead fly, and more! All of these pictures can also be found in these separate collections: Because my photographic equipment has evolved over the years, the photos in this album were taken with a number of different lenses and cameras — including a high-magnification Yasuhara Nanoha 5x ultra-macro lens I had rented for a few days.

Now, as with the other super-albums I have created, you can find all of these related close-up and macro pictures in one place. Buckle up and get ready for a fantastic voyage into a smaller world!
The photos in this album were taken with the  Sony Alpha α55,  Sony Alpha α77,  Olympus OM-D E-M5,  Olympus Stylus TG-2,  Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR  and  Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS50  cameras.
