Another year has arrived, and so I begin the fourth album of photos from my neighborhood. The images in this year’s album illustrate the wonderful variety of each season.
At the beginning of the year I took some close-up pictures of frost-covered ferns in my backyard. Spring brought blooming flowers, wild as well as cultivated, all over the neighborhood. During the summer I found blossoming squashes, roses and more! The return of the cold weather at the end of the year provided a frozen pond for ice-skating geese!
All of this within a short walk from my house! It just goes to show that you don’t have to travel long distances or spends lots of money to have fun with photography and get satisfying results!
Don’t miss the neighborhood photos from other years, presented in a wide variety of albums:
In addition, you can see all of my neighborhood images together in the Neighborhood (All Years)
